During the distillation period, Grand Cognac offers a notable event celebrating exceptional know-how !

The third edition of the Ban de la Distillation will take place on 24^th and 26^th October 2025. Le Ban de la Distillation highlights the process of Charentais distillation through the know-how of producers, the involvement of local stakeholders and the wine-producing industry (cognac, pineau des Charentes, etc …).
The term “ban” is used here in its original meaning of official proclamation.

Thus the “ban” announces the start of the grape-harvest, the “ban” de la distillation symbolises the official launch of the distillation period, a crucial step in the production of our renowned spirit.

The event takes place over two days and offers a diversified à la carte programme that allows for unexpected meetings and creates bridges between producers and the general public. Concerts, shows, lectures, meetings, exhibitions and visitor circuits enable a large number of visitors to attend.
